1. Read & Ride Stationary Exercise Bikes
Who says reading has to be a sedentary activity? The library now offers two Read & Ride stationary exercise bikes designed to allow patrons to read or work at a desktop unit while exercising simultaneously! The reading bikes are available to patrons ages 13 and up. You must stop at the circulation desk to check out the bike. All youth under 18 must have an adult while using the bikes. 2. Mobile Hotspots

3. CD Players
The CD Players are available for checkout at the Dale and the Chrisney branches.  Checkouts are for three weeks, with no renewals. A $10 deposit is required.  CD Player Details

4. Chromebooks
Chromebooks are now available for checkout at both the Dale and Chrisney branches. One is available at the Chrisney Branch and three at the Dale Branch. 5. Dell Laptops with padded bag
Laptops are available for checkout at both the Dale and Chrisney branches. There is one available for checkout at both locations. Checkout is for one week with no renewals. A $30 deposit is required. 6. iPad with Otterbox case
iPads are available for checkout at both the Dale and Chrisney branches. Checkout is for one week with no renewals. A $30 deposit is required. 7. Recipe Swap Box
With the holidays approaching it is the perfect time to introduce our Recipe Swap Box! The Lincoln Heritage Public Library Recipe Swap Box is a simple way to explore new foods in the community. Library patrons (and staff) now have a place to share their favorite recipes while also having a chance to try something new! Everyone is free to take a recipe from the box. Bring a recipe, take a recipe! The point of this collection is to try something new and share meals you like. Next time in town, swing by Lincoln Heritage Public Library and try something new. The Recipe Box is on the holds shelf next to the circulation desk.
 
8. Special Olympics Young Athletes Backpack Available For Checkout!
Lincoln Heritage Public Library received three amazing backpacks to get all kids outside and moving. Rainy day no problem. There are so many activities you can do with the included items. These are for LHPL patrons and will not transit. Please stop by and check out yours this weekend.
The Chrisney Branch has one backpack, and Dale has two that can be checked out for a week, with no renewals.
  • each backpack contains sports equipment (One ball, four scarves, two tennis racquets, two fun birds, four bean bags, one ringed set of activity cards)
  • Three books in each bag from the following list:
