Dale: Adult Programs: Mondays at 6:00 p.m. CST reserved for patrons 18 years & up. Reservations are requested.  Masks highly recommended. November 29: Create a Christmas Ornament: Start with a clear ornament and paint it, decoupage book pages on it, or make it mosaic with shiny pieces of CDs. Limit 8

December 6: No Program
December 13:  Book Bingo:  Enjoy playing bingo for books and book related prizes. Reservation appreciated. (Hoosier Room)
December 20: Crafter's Choice: Choose from available craft supplies and make whatever you want. Requires a reservation. Limit of 8. (Little Pigeon Creek Room)
December 27: New Year, New You: Pamper Yourself Night:  Resolve to take time for you next year and start here! We will design our own sleep masks and make facial scrubs. Reservation Required. Limit 8. (Hoosier Room)

Starting January 3 there will be Chair Exercises each week before the adult program.  
January 3: Chair exercises: 5:00-5:30 p.m.  Fun and effective exercises done while sitting in a chair. These exercises are suitable for any fitness level. Must be 18+. Reservations are not required for this free program, but they are recommended.  (Hoosier Rm)
               Lord of the Rings Trivia Night: 6:00-7:00 p.m. January 3 is J.R.R. Tolkien's birthday and National Tolkien Day. January 4 is National Trivia Day. We're celebrating both with Lord of the Rings Trivia Night! Questions will be based on the books and the movies. Prizes for the winners! This program (Hoosier Rm)
January 5: Yoga for You: Instructional Videos: 10:00:10:30 a.m. (18 yrs & up) Follow along & learn new yoga skills with a different video each week (Hoosier Rm)
January 10: Chair exercises: 5:00-5:30 p.m.  Fun and effective exercises done while sitting in a chair. These exercises are suitable for any fitness level. Must be 18+. Reservations are not required for this free program, but they are recommended.  (Hoosier Rm)
                    Flour Sack Towel Tie Dye: 6:00-7:00 p.m. We will be making one-of-a-kind flour sack towels. Whether you choose to use them as towels or as decorations in your kitchen, they will definitely be conversation pieces! This free program is for ages 18+ and does require a reservation. (Hoosier Rm)

                     Book Club:1:00-2:00 p.m.  You get to keep the books you read AND earn attendance incentives! Book Club at its best. Books will be available by 12/13. Reservations are not needed for Book Club, but you will be asked to leave your name when you pick up the book. (Pigeon Rm)

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for all of your genealogy needs.  She will be available at the Chrisney Branch on Mondays from  2:00-4:00 p.m. through the end of the year.  Visit her at the Dale Branch on Wednesdays from 1:30-4:00 p.m. You may also call her at 812.937.7170. She loves leafing through the branches of your family tree. This is a free service.

Curbside Service: Both Branches of Lincoln Heritage Public Library are still offering curbside service!

Contests at Both Branches:

Both Branches: Dale & Chrisney: Paw Patrol Fall Scavenger Hunt ages 2-8 years starts on Monday, November 1 through Saturday, December 4th.  Pick up your scavenger hunt sheet at the circulation desk.  Seek and Find 6 Fall Paw Patrol Themed items and mark them on your sheet.  Bring your completed sheet to the front desk for a fall bookmark and to be entered for the big prize drawing on Monday, December 6. One big winner at each location.

Both Branches: Dale & Chrisney: Winter Wonderland Treasure Hunt
Drop by either Branch of LHPL and pick up a treasure map. Follow the clues to find the treasure at the end. This contest is open for all ages. The adventure starts on Wednesday, December 1 and must be completed by Thursday, December 30. One winner per location. Winners will be notified by January 2.

Both Branches: Dale & Chrisney: Guess the Candy Canes
Guess how many candy canes are in the jar, without going over! All ages can participate. One winner at each Branch. Contest starts on December 1 - 30. Winners will be notified by January 2.

Both Branches: Disguise the Gingerbread Man Contest
Disguise a Gingerbread Man! It's holiday time and cookies are trembling (especially the Gingerbread Man). Please disguise the Gingerbread man as your favorite book character so he doesn't get eaten this year. Return your disguised cookies as fast as you can!
It's a challenge! Open to everyone. Pick up your paper cutout starting on November 24. Return it by December 30. Winners will be selected on Jan 2.
