Both Branches have a MakerSpace

Our MakerSpace is now available to all patrons, no matter where you live. This allows library patrons to create intellectual and physical materials using many machines. The Dale Branch has a MakerBot Sketch 3-D printer, Elgato VHS/DVD Converter, Smart Sketcher Projector, Smart STIX Engineering Kit, Cricut Explore Air 2, Nice2Have Button & Keychain Maker, Art Skills Wood Burning Kit, a Brother SE 600 sewing & embroidery machine, Gigu Tumbler Heat Press Machine, and a Singer Sewing Machine. The MakerSpace is open on a first-come, first-served basis on Mondays from 9:00-7:00, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:00-5:00, and Saturdays from 9:00-12:00. The Chrisney Branch has a Brother SE 600 Sewing & Embroidery Machine and a Cricut Explore Air 3. The MakerSpace is available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10:00-5:00 and Fridays from 1:00-4:00. Online safety training is required for anyone who wants to use the equipment. The room/area is available for anyone ages eight and up! Children 8-13 must have an adult with them at all times. Maryann, our MakerSpace Tech, is available for additional assistance by appointment at the Dale Branch on Mondays from 9:00-12:00, Wednesdays & Fridays from 1:00-5:00. She is available at the Chrisney Branch on Mondays from 1:00-4:00, by appointment. Please call to schedule a time.
